I started working on this series in 2017 when I visited my hometown of Pasto, Colombia. I was thinking about the crucial role of plants to protect our global climate system, but also about how they regulate our inner life and make us feel at home even after we have migrated. With the COVID-19 pandemic, their glass helmets have taken a whole other meaning.
